US DOL/ETA Region V New Grantee Pre-Conference Meeting
Hyatt Regency Chicago, IL - April 6-7, 2010
The New Grantee Pre-Conference meeting is for the discretionary grantees in Region 5 who are new to DOL and ETA. We also encourage veteran grantees to participate to refresh their knowledge and understanding of DOL/ETA procedures and best practices. The pre-conference meeting is "invitation-only" for our region grantees.
The goal of the pre-conference meeting is to prepare new grantees for successful management of their DOL grant; we will share best practices, expert knowledge and operational procedures that will assist grantees in managing their grants.
The 1 1/2 day meeting will cover topics on fiscal requirements, program and financial reporting, and case management.
MEETING TOPICS WILL INCLUDE:
- Best practices for managing your DOL grant
- Effectively working with DOL, the regional office and your FPO
- Enhancing the financial management of your grant
